Hello From Ft. Rucker

Hi there. Just wanted to say "Hello." I picked up my 2010 Sierra SLT about three weeks back, and finally got around to taking a picture to post up in here. I actually bought a used 2008 2WD last summer, but after taking it home to the Northeast at Christmas, decided 4WD would be in order!

My 08 was a 5.3/4-spd combo which didn't really impress me much when towing. The 6-spd and better gearing would have helped, but with the 6.2 available, that's what I wanted. Originally looked for a Storm Gray All-Terrain, but not much luck finding one that had the options I wanted. Plus, (and I'm not knockin the AT package, I do like it) I figured it would be mostly cosmetic, cause I'm not about about to take a truck like this for any real off-roading. That's why God made Jeeps. I will use the truck to tow my CJ7.

Anyway, the forums are great. I look forward to reading more and more. I took the Smittybilt steps off my 08 and put them on the 10 (they didn't line up exactly the same, I'm still having to do some tweaking... odd) and the same with the fold-up tonneau, that's it so far. My close future plans are to install a leveling kit (still reading the forums for opinions) and possibly looking to try the Bedrug this time instead of the hard liner. Anyone have one?

Thanks! I'm here for IERW now. About to take my instruments check ride next Friday. Is your username still current, are you still flying Hawks? Also, what do you think of that Rough Country leveling kit?
