it woulden't be terrible, it would remind me more of a gmc then anything for some reason...just steer clear of the chrome flame grills, those are over used like chuck norris jokes

I hate the flame grills. The billet ones look good, but they are WAY to over used also. I just want something that is going to look really good and not like every other Silverado out there.

stay black, with a clean none overboard look and you will be fine...too much chrome looks cheap, kind of like too much jewelry looks cheap

Fully agreed on that. Thats partially why I dont have chrome rims. Im not a giant fan of chrome, I want to kinda show off the bluish/black of the truck.

yeah man if i had the extra cash i'd have black all over with the exception of the little chrome on the bumpers...i'm a humble man, ladys dont flock for the chrome the flock for the driver

If you're going for a fast/sport look, that would look pretty good. I've seen grilles like that on many trucks. I don't care for em', IMO. But, like someone else said, DON'T GET FLAMES!! That's the stupidest looking shit ever. If I were you I'd start by painting the gray part of your grille black and see if you like it more then. My honest opinion, "It would look sickly (makes you wanna puke) because there's too much chrome on the front of the truck." But, it's your truck and the final decision is yours! That's the beauty of owning a Chevrolet.

if you use that grille it will look similar to what the gmc canyons look in front. they have the large open grill up front and the split lights on the side. if i were you, i'd leave it the way it is and color match the upper part of the bumper, air dam, and the gray trim of the grill someone mentioned earlier. it'd set it off nicely and the small hint of chrome up front won't be too overbearing.

I may try that and see how it looks first.
