Recommended Posts

Anyone know if this product is worth anything? OR anything better to do it yourself? Trying to save money but I'm hopefull to install it correctly as well. Any pointers will be great, and as always thanks for the help!

+1 with saving up for line-x.

BUT... what are you using it for? Honestly, i was saving up for line-x and started doing some research and ended up with the bedrug. IMO its perfect for the average home owner.... i can make trips to the dump and not have to worry about dirt/grease/oil because its all plastic, not carpet.... or i can move furniture without worrying about it sliding or getting scratched. Its easy to install and very affordable.... and its not permanent so if you ever sell the truck it may help with resale if the potential buyer doesnt want a spray in liner. its definitely worth a second look

Bedrug has always been the answer for me. I have been using it since the mid 90's in all my trucks. Just wish I still could buy direct from the factory like I used to since they are just 2 hours up the road (and used to be $100 buck cheaper too). Line-X is nice, but around here they want >$500 for it. Just depends on the abuse you intent for it.

I have a rhino lining in mine. If I could do it again, I'd do it myself with some rust-o-leum bed lining. I agree, it's nowhere near as thick as rhino lining, but I don't ever use my bed for anything more than a little garbage now and then.

If money's tight then get a drop in liner. It's better than a roll on bed liner and much better than looking at scratches in your truck bed. I ran a drop in liner on my last truck and the only probelm I had was the bed rail curling in the cold.
