I have a set of OEM 20's on my truck with the Goodyear Eagle LS2's that the truck came with in 275/55-20. They are okay but I'm not amazed with them, in the snow they werent the best and I think I want try something new. I was looking on tire rack and the Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza that comes stock on the Denali's has some good reviews. What is everyone else running on the OEM 20's?

I am in the same situation as you. I will be getting tires within the next month or so, and I was hoping to find something that lasts longer than the Goodyears have for me. I was in a friends local tire store on Friday, and asked him about tires for my truck. He said that he would go back with the Goodyear tires. According to him, I shouldn't expect a lot more miles out of the Michelins than I could expect out of the Goodyears. His quick quote (everyone's pricing, not a special price) was 630 for 4 Goodyears Installed, and 1100 for a set of Michelins installed.

I am considering 3 different tires currently. The Goodyear eagle LS2, The BFGoodrich Long Trail TA Tour, and the Michelin LT M/S2.

I have 29000 miles on my Goodyears, and they really need to be replaced now IMO. I don't run a tire until it gets unsafe in wet conditions.

I have the Goodyear Eagle LS2, and they lasted me 60,000 miles. Pretty good IMO, thinking about replacing them with another set of LS2.

Just someting to consider but you can throw a leveling kit on it and run a larger tire  . I have a 2.5 level on my '09 and was told I can run a 33's. I also have the factory 20's with the LS2s and not a fan of them in the snow. I cant wait till mine get worn so I can get my new rubber. I only have 7k on them tho so this may take awhile :D

I purchased some LTX A/T2 285/70/17 and they ride very smooth on my 2005. Discount Tire manager offered them to me after I complained about the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos. They are not loud while driving on the highway either. Great tire.

Love my Toyo Open Country A/T's in the stock 20 size (275/55/20) but they were kind of pricey ($850 installed OTD).

Other tires that I liked were

Cooper Zeon LTZ

ProComp Extreme A/T

This is kind of an odd ball tire size and some tire manufactures don't make our tire size. I thought the stock Goodyears were OK, but I only got 27K out of them, I was hoping for more.

I didn't really care for the GY LS2's at all when I had them. Mine were wearing like I could have gotten 35-40k out of them but I replaced them long before that. I went with Cooper Zeon LTZ 275/55/20 and am very pleased. I paid $930 out the door for the Coopers. I could have saved a few hundred buying them online but I like dealing with my local shop.

What didn't you like about the Revo's? Looking at new shoes for the Suburban and was taking a look at them. I had them on the Liberty before and loved them!

Also looking into some new tires for my OEM 20's. I just took some 275/65/20 Michellins off a brand new 2011 F-350 SD. That is a 34.1' I have a 2`level in my truck, but will they fit is the question haha. The tires are free so i would like to here some opinions.

No way a 34" tire is fitting on a stock truck or even leveled

Had the Goodyear LS 2's and got slightly over 30,000 and they were not to the wear bars.

I just put a set of 275 55 20 Hankook Ventus ST's with these CK948 rims on my truck.

Have to see how they do.
