Help Me Find "smooth Ride" Shocks

I've got a 2003 GMC Yukon SLT with the smooth ride option. Not a denali - and not air suspension.

 

Im looking to replace the shocks since they are not so "smooth" anymore (89k on the truck).

 

The problem is - I cant find the "smooth ride" shocks anywhere. I was hoping to get some at a local parts store - but they dont list that option. DO I have to go to a GMC dealer to get this exact shock? I dont want the ride to be worse by putting in the wrong shocks.

 

Im not a fan of bilsteins or ranchos if that helps.

Do you have the ZW7 package? (Smooth ride w/auto rear leveling) If you're not sure, check the glove box for the RPO code sticker and see if ZW7 is one of them.

 

You'll probably want to go with Monroe Sensa-trac's... they're comfortable/smooth shocks

I agree on the recommendation for Monroe Sensa-Trac as a switch over from the GM smooth ride option....

Bilstiens shocks are very smooth too. They came as part of the lift kit on my old truck, rolling '35 tires and she drove like a caddy.
