Sometimes A Long Bed Would Come In Handy

Toolbox, tent, babys pack and play, wood, alcohol, 2 water jugs, fold up chairs. Still dont have any of our clothes bags or cooler loaded. Clothes going on top and the cooler and sleeping bags going on the basket in the hitch. The two times a yr it would be a long bed or trailer

That toolbox is killing you. When we go camping it's we have (3) 30 gallon Rubbermaid containers, for food, cooking supplies, eating supplies, floaties, (2) coolers, (2) tents, a shade tent, cloths, cooking stove, firewood, (3) bikes, (3) sleeping bags, (2) air mattresses, a couple cases of adult beverages, a couple cases of water, and a couple cases of soda. All of that fits in the bed with the tonneau cover closed.

The toolbox is storing a bunch of things that I normally carry plus some things for the trip (shoes, fishing poles, blankets)

Last yr on labor day I didnt have my truck. It was a struggle with the Tahoe. This yr is even rougher because we are now packing for an extra one (baby).

I feel that sometimes I should have got a long box. (unable to close tail gate when moving a queen or king size bed). But then I remember how much shittier parking would be.

I used to have RCSB, never really missed it in the seven years I've had RCLB. Worth noting that an RCLB truck has a 10" shorter wheelbase than an ECSB (133" vs. 143" or 143.5")! Now its the ex cab long bed that gets to be a little long...

On the flipside, I've only ever filled it once or twice. Here is the last trip we took:

Made one hell of a place to build a snowman last winter. Put one in there and drove it around for an evening . Got a lot of smiles from folks that night.
