Good afternoon.

 

I came off of work to notice one of my tail lamp assembly (drivers side) seems to have broken off on my 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab. I need to order a replacement one, does anyone know if the all red Chevy will fit into my Sierra without modification?

i do believe so, but why personally i hink the gmc's look better. and where i live there isnt many street lamps so i like the amber turn signals

They're definitely both interchangeable, but how'd it just break off?

 

 

Honestly, I have no idea. The plastic brackets that the screws go into snapped. Someone may may have tried to steal it, but there was no other damage. I am just trying to find a replacement for it, as it is not repairable at this time.

Well if you like the "clean" look of the Chevy, that is cool, but I always liked the traditional looks with the Amber turn signal and such. Afterall, why would you want to "downgrade" your superior GMC to that of a Chevy? :D Well just kidding with you there, I have to admit, being on my 2nd GMT-900 GMC Sierra, I really like the front end look of the Silverado alot better. I was even considering trading in my 08 Duramax for an 06 Duramax GMC as I really liked the front end look of the 99-06 Sierra's.

Havent done it yet. Im just waitin for a day off and to get my paycheck and Im def gonna do it. I have it in my favorites lol.
