Difference Between Corsa Sport Vs Corsa Db Series

The Sport is less aggressive when compared to the db series. The db is for those who prefer a deep rumbling growl during normal driving. The Sport characteristic is loud during acceleration but somewhat quite otherwise.

I'm not sure the stainless steel in the DB is as high a grade as the regular Corsa systems. The Corsa sport has a lifetime warranty while the DB series has a limited 10 year warranty. The DB series is their economy system.

I believe I read some where the DB series was 409 stainless. They do say the tip is 304 stainless on Corsa's web site but they don't say what grade the muffler and pipes are. They just say stainless steel. The Corsa touring and sport systems are 100% 304 stainless steel.

Do they come with the same tips. Because that dual single side tip is sexy but high$!!!!!!! Im sure its on on the cheaper kit

You are right I contacted Corsa and talked to them for awhile...

The two main differences is that the piping on the db series is 409 stainless while the muffler and tip are 304 stainless with different tip

Can you privide any information about the differences of the two stainless steels

304 stainless is better than 409 in that it will usually resist even surface rust whereas 409 tends to surface rust and will not look nearly as nice as even an aluminized exhaust after a little while, but neither will have rust through problems.

I spoke to the Rep today about the differences. He told me they ade the db line to be more competitive in the market with Magnaflow , flowmaster, Etc... With that being said the muffler is the same in both groups but in the higher end one. the stainless is much higher grade with a lifetime warranty. Also the clamps are better and the tips are better as well.

But your looking at the db series at about $525 and the Corsa series at about $950

In my opinion... I may just wait and save the extra cash and get the better one. the stainless tubing wich is visible will look great and I never have to worry about an exaust system again

So from what the rep told you the mufflers are an identical design? So soundwise there "shouldn't" be any difference.
