Chassis And Body Lube

Recommended Posts

Posted

Ok, I changed my oil the other day and I would like to perform the "chassis and body lube" as outlined in our manual. I did a search on the forum for a diagram or description on the points or # of points at least and came up dry (no pun intended). Anyone have this info or can point me to it if I am missing it?

Thanks in advance....

I may be wrong but I think there are only two grease points on GMT-900 1500's

And thats on the front end one on each side.

2wd are the only ones I've worked with.

(ball joints? tie rod?) I can't rememeber for sure what they're called but I know for a fact thats all thats on the 2007's and 2008's as I've worked on many at my jobsite and my own personal vehicle.

2500 and 3500 different story.

I guess you could put silicone lube on the weatherstripping and pull the driveshaft and lube the slip yoke too if you really wanna do a good job....
