If you had a budget of 50k. .Can buy any truck, Customize it anyway you want, Any color, lift, ect.

Would it be close to what you have? If not what?

Just thought it would be fun to daydream a bit out loud :seeya:

I know of 2 things i would have done differently:

#1 I would have held out for a black truck like i initially wanted. Instead of being patient I had to have a new truck THAT DAY so i said i would take a grey stone instead of black.

#2 I would have went with VMAX and 4.10 gears instead of 5.3 and 3.73 gears, just so i didnt have to regear the truck.

I guess i didnt plan on lifting the truck when i first bought it, I was just going to do leveling kit and 33's, then i realized that 305/55/20s dont clear for shit so i need a suspension lift to run any kind of tires on it. Next Time I will know exactly what im getting into. (lift and Vmax, or lift and diesel)

Edit: Oh I dont know if I would necessarily buy a brand new truck next time. I think that if i could find a used one of the current model year, or even a one year old model with really low mileage i would go that route. I bought the truck brand new because i wanted a warranty, then a few months after having it I voided a good portion of it! saving initial 5+K that you lose as soon as you drive a brand new truck off that lot isnt a bad idea, especially when ur gonna drop 5K on a lift and wheels/tires.

Edit again: I keep thinking of things.. I would get power rear sliding window. I miss having any kind of sliding window, but i thought the defrost feature would be nice. Well it sucks I dont care about defrost I would rather have a rear slider, and it would need to be a powered.

I'll probably have close to that in this one when I finish, but I wouldn't want anything else. Love this truck, well maybe a different color. :seeya:

I'd probably end up with what i have now, but wouldn't have wasted money on 2 other sets of wheels/tires before just finally getting what i originally wanted.

Oh, and if i had 50k then i'd actually have my truck paid off with cash left over... which would be sweeeeeeeeeeet

Shouold we increase the budget to 60k? lol.

then it becomes easy to go for all the goodies,,,

I ordered mine... and I'd lift it. :fume:

I know where you can find the truck you described above in about 2-3 weeks :dunno:

I'd get a 6.2 and 6 speed

Black or White - kind of torn between the two

6" BDS

3" Zone

325/65/18 Mickey T's

Wheels would depend on color choice

Now who's going to GIVE me 50k????

I'm definitely not cool enough for one of your bikes though. I'd rock it, no doubt about that... but i could barely pull off the VTX1800F that i had (im only 5'10 170lbs soaking wet). Me on a custom chopper would probably look as out of place as my grandma cruisin around in my truck :fume:

2011 GMC Sierra SLT 3500 SRW Duramax/Allison

i would get it in Woodland green but normal people cant order that color.... it would be a hard decision between red, white, or dark blue.

White Chevy 2500 Dmax. Lifted of course. All of my previous trucks have been white and I'll never figure out why I changed.

That is a hell of a ride. alot more comfortable and im sure hauls ass too

the thing was a BEAST. my first cruiser was a 92 Intruder 800. Then my old man picked up a VTX1800R. I'd take his VTX when we (my wife and i) would go somewhere with my mom and dad (he'd take his goldwing) since the VTX was a much nicer ride than the intruder, especially riding 2-up.

after cruising on that thing for a season it just never felt right getting back on the Intruder. Since im young i went with the sportier "F" version.

There's not a nice day that goes by that I don't miss this bike :seeya:http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e55/sk1e...TX/VTX18003.jpg
