Go A Few Days Without Alignment?

Im doing the zone 3.5 combo and i was wondering if id be ok going a few days without alignment. Im gonna do it in steps this week into next and then get the new wheels/tires put on and aligned. So i am basically worried about the suspension components, not the tires. Thnx.

depends on how much driving you plan on doing and how far off it is

I don't know how much it'll be off, it's a inch level kit. As far as driving it'd be a couple days of around town driving at the most. Like a 7 minute drive to work and back a cpl nights

The only thing a level kit really throws out is the toe adjustment. You should be fine for a couple of 7 mile drives.

Worst it will do is maybe chew up the tires a bit, not hurt the front end. I would not sweat it too much if you are throwing new wheels and tires on it. I mean it sounds like you won't be going far.

I went a week or two after I lowered my truck before I was able to get an alignment. You should be fine as long as its not off too much. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the toe being off will do more damage to your tires than camber.

unless you are going to put 5 to 10k miles on it in the next few days, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

Not gonna hurt a single thing. Tire wear is all you'd have to worry about and even that would be minimal (plus you are getting new rubber anyway)

Yeah you will be fine. Only the tires you will have to worry about and even then...as long as you don't leave it for months and months (or lots of driving) you wont notice anything. I know from experience!! haha

Hmmm, that reminds me.

 

I still need to get an alignment after installing the leveling kit back in 2007... some 26,000 miles ago.
