They take some getting used to, but they look great.

 

 

Thanks, I just hope I dont tear my passenger one off backing out of the garage!

Looking good! :D Do they help you in daily driving too? Lane changes? Backing up?

Thanks, yep you can see alot better. They were not real hard to get used to since they are on all of are digger and bucket trucks. Glad I made the purchase. Are you still gonna get some?

Did you buy OEM or aftermarket mirrors? I keep going back and forth to get a set or not.

nice mirrors. im surprised some guys dont do the power towing mirrors. my buddy has a gmt800 series diesel truck, 4x4 crew cab long box and his towing mirrors move out and electronically

Those were the '05 telescoping mirrors & I think only available that year. I don't think too many people have upgraded to that style. The vertical towing mirrors seem to be the way to go.

 

I don't know if it's me or not, but I like a mirror that is vertical rather than horizontal. My father's '75 & '79 trucks both had the typical 70s mirrors (not the most stylish) & I preferred them when I was driving those trucks. Both of them had "caps" on them so you used the mirrors a lot.

 

I think in '80 or '81 GM went to the horizontal style.

You can get them for the new trucks, but it has to have the power folding feature to begin with and they are pretty pricey.
