You aren't worried about the fogs overheating in the small plastic housings?

i only ask because I want to replace the lame stock ones too, but am worried about the temperature effects.

ive had those hid's in there for quite a long time now an no issues... Actually i found that these hids runn cooler than the silverstar ultras!

When i had my silverstar ultras in there they made the lenses alot hotter.

Those backup lights are nice, i've almost hit many a tree and ditch from not being able to see while backing up; are they hardwired right to the battery? and where did you get the back up lights?

wowee, those are bright. you like the piaa backup kit? I'm trying to find a way to brighten backing up due to my tails being smoked. heard good things about them ddm.

Quick tip for those of you that are having a hard time seeing in reverse and haven't got a backup kit yet: turn your headlights to parking lights only. Why it helps, I dunno, but it makes it seem like you added reverse lights behind ya lol. At least for me it does. I backup with mirrors, not trning my head 180*.

you posted the low beams and the fogs were both 6000K...but why do the fogs look a different temperature than the low beams? were they still warming up?

Which Oddyssey battery did you order. I'm looking at getting one as well. They are supposed to be really good batteries.

Thanx for all the comments.

Here is the kit i got ... I got it on ebay for around $100.. I cant remember the exact $ but it was around there.. They only hang down like 2" which is nice. Comes with wire harness that goes directly to battery and has a 3 way switch where if i have it in down position it turns on lights with reverse. Middle position shuts off , and up position overrides and turns them on so i can use as work light.

I had my audio shop wire them in for me as i dont know that much about 12v but i would imagine one wire goes to the reverse lights from the relay in harness to trigger them...

The fog lights prob appear different because i ordered the kit as a high beam kit. I wanted those brighter... They look bluer in the picture but they cast more light than the lows..

Here's the odyssey battery i got. Ive heard great things about them and wanted to upgrade to the best.. I originally wanted an optima years ago, but ive heard they went down in quality lately where you could get a good one or a bad so i didnt want to risk it. The price tag is high on odyssey, but i figure for something like a battery you depend on starting your vehicle is sub zero temps i didnt want to hold back.

Plus i went with the side post and top post... This way i can have factory power wire on side like it is now and have accesries run off top. It should help clean up under the hood.

And yes , i think i am hated in my neighbor hood :):D Between my truck starting up every morning when i leave for work with my new cherry bomb exhaust, MY train horns , and lights, everyone knows when im home or leaving :D
