Well there are classifications or categories for posts. Does it hurt anything being in the wrong section? Most times not. But why clutter up certain sections with off topic threads? Many times by posting in the correct section, your post might have a better chance of being seen by the right person. Plus, maybe your ipod thread had been there long enough and they wanted to move it so someone searching for Audio or video thread could find it easier.

I would think that this thread should be in the Off Topic section, not the Heavy Duty section. The world must have order... :fume:

While I didn't move it (don't know who did), just because it was a month old doesn't really mean much. We don't see and review all threads every day.

Mods cruise the site and move stuff to appropriate sections ll the time. It's nothing personal and they don't always see misplaced threads right away. I do it when I have time on my forums.

Just post stuff in the right place and theres no issues...

why would a speaker question be in the HD section

Should they post their wheel/tire questions in the HD forum too then?

I didn't realize all of the specialty forums applied only to 1500 series truck

Because the speakers in the heavy duties are different than the light duty ones.
