Steven, the cortex works on 6.2l 6spd trucks (I've been considering one).

 

Not sure if it'll need to be updated for the 2011 model year but if you go to superchips.com they have a tech forum.... I'd as there or call up.

It will work.on the 5.3 to that's what i had it on truck will be returned to stock before i ship it out you will have no problems connecting it to your vehicle. If you have any more questions feel free to ask
