to get the back one to work with the 60/40 front seats, you have to cut off the piece shown to fit it around the plastic of the console (with 60/40 front seats). There is a ridge as you can see in the pic, just cut all the way around at the top of the ridge. not sure about trucks with bench seats and a full center console im guessing you dont need to cut anything.

I love the Weathertech liners. I had them in my Taco and I have them in the Subaru now. The Taco with 30k on it when I traded it in looked brand new still under the mats.

I've had mine in since Xmas day and am really liking them! Its nice to not have to worry about muddy/snowy boots in the truck!

My only problem with those would be cleaning them/vacuuming under the carpets. Plus, I like to put things on the front hump sometimes (bibles, groceries, food for lunch at work etc.) and I have a hard enough time with it sliding around on the carpet let alone a flat plastic piece.

it grips more than the carpet. i have things settin on it all the time. i hated that about the carpet, everything slid all over. these arent a plastic floormat. they are rubber. they grip.

I've never tried putting things on the mats as both vehicles I've used them in had full floor consoles but I don't think they'd grip light stuff like a lunch bag or books too well. Then again in my older vehicles I never put stuff there as I'd be worried that it'd fall down by the pedals.

Awesome product! Had mine in since Christmas day too and love them! :(

They do look nice. I may eventually pick up a set. BUT, you gave me an AWESOME idea. I think I am going to "procure" (legally of course) 1 rear floor mat from my boss on Monday, and put that on the hump to keep things from sliding around :(

i bet it will. I have had a plastic oil filter wrench sittin on there since the day i got em. Been lazy and havent put it back in the garage yet. And it hasnt moved from the spot i sat it down at. I had a plastic jug 1/4 full of fluids from my motorcycles, to dispose of in the local river (just joking), to dispose of at work, and it didnt move on my drive to work this morning. The only thing i can see that would move around, would be a ball.

I know this is not part of the subject but Greg can you tell me what kind of running boards you have on your truck? I have been looking for a good simple black board/bar that would hold up to salt. Anyway I like what I saw in your signature so just thought I would ask.

Thanks

no prob man! They are OEM i believe. Came with the truck when i got it. I like em b/c the stuff that the weathertech mud guards dont stop, these do. I never get dirt or road grime on the side of my truck, just salt dust, lol.

here is a big picture, they are dirrty as hell in this pic!

Thanks, did not think they had factory boards, just thought they had the tubes. I will check it out.

Thanks again.

anytime. they look stock. i bought the truck used with 30K, so im not 100% if they are factory. they look stock b/c of the pattern on them (same as trailblazers), but that could easily be copied by an aftermarket brand.

if you have a tube type set to trade, let me know... may be interested. even though i really like how these perform, there are nerf bars out there that look better.

    • Update for anyone following:    Installed everything as shown in diagram. Opted for 8 AWG from Battery Positive to a 50A resettable inline breaker. 8 AWG is tied into to 2x 12 AWG wires feeding a 6 way fuse bus in parallel (manufacturer’s design of what I purchased).    4 of the 6 fuses available for circuits are tied to terminal 30 of each relay. I tied a jumper from one of my spare circuits off the bus to terminal 86 of each relay. The trigger, terminal 85, was pulled from my interior by way of T-Taps from the X61A-X5 pins 10, 11, 17 and 23. This was the hardest part of the job. Even with the X61A unbolted and the X5 removed - there was VERY little wiggle room.  I added back up lights that I want to come on with my cargo lamp - but when I would check continuity between S48A-X1 pin 18 to its respective landing point on the X61A-X5 it triggers the factory relay… Instead I opted for a add-a-fuse on the passenger interior fuse panel (fuse location 10 - cargo lamp) and ran it through the boot on the driver side to my load. Did this to avoid introducing any electrical gremlins.   Note: Please check for continuity between the S48A-X1 and the X61A-X5. In my case wire colours were not the same as other’s who have posted. To do a continuity check you need a Multimeter. Completely disassemble the S48A-X1 and remove the brown face plate off the X61A-X5 by way of a flat head screwdriver - this was the only way I could get any results.   The outputs, terminal 87 of the relays, were fed into a junction box and landed at Individual studs and were labelled Aux 1-4.    At this point, all you need to do is run wire to your loads and bring them to ground. I created a negative bus in the engine bay, all my negatives land here.    For anyone having issues with all of your new aux switch lights coming on with the press of one - I noticed this only to be an issue when the battery wasn’t hooked up to my relays? No idea why, but it was quickly corrected by having my system buttoned up and functional.
    • Well I ordered the Autel ts508, and it won't work on my truck I tried all the 2023 and everything it just says vehicle not supported lol   I'm able to send this unit back, so I'm going to do that, then I'll just stop into a some tire shops and if none of them are able to do it, I guess ill have to spend a bunch of money to get a good scanner..... Thanks GM lol
    • Don't need the air tube but that's how everyone sells them. Most places won't remove that one piece and sell it alone. No money to be made. Hoping someone swapped theirs out for a CAI and no longer wants it. Not asking anyone to give it away. Offering to buy it but I don't need the tube. It's held on by a hex head screw and nut. Been all over eBay.
    • Wait, you guys are changing your oil???
    • If you need that mount looking piece.  You need the air tube.       Cheapest one I see on eBay - 2007-2014 GM Silverado 1500 Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Assembly 5.3L OEM 15901934 | eBay     Same price but free shipping - 2009-2014 CADILLAC ESCALADE 6.2L AIR CLEANER OUTLET DUCT ASSEMBLY 15901934 OEM | eBay
