Very pleased with how my truck handled the snow today. I started sliding while going up the mountains a bit, so I pulled over and put it in that Auto 4WD. Didn't have any problems what so ever for the rest of the day...

Here are some pics because without these the thread would be worthless...

No need o pull off the road to hit "Auto" - that's the point. Easy-peezy, any time AWD.

Also no need to pull over for 4hi... You can lock it in at pretty much any speed below 60 (although if the weather is that bad you probably should not be going 60, lol).

4 low is when you have to be at a slow crawl of 1 mph...

Good looking truck. Glad to hear it handled well in the snow. It's supposed to get pretty nasty down here in South Carolina tonight and tomorrow. Can't wait to see how mine holds up.

Yea I don't know what all yall are supposed to get in SC but in here in GA it's the ice I'm worried about. I don't mind the snow, but I do not want to be going to work Monday morning with ice all over the road. They say after about 3-4 inches of snow it is supposed to be all ice.

We had .5 inch of rain on Thursday, Friday was sunny, Saturday and into today we had about 8 inches of snow, winds are currently 35 mph and did I mention the temp is currently -18c. We have a wind chill of -30c. So lets recap rain + cold=ice, snow+wind=drifts, wind+cold=REALLY cold. I'm going to need every bit of 4x4 to get out of the back alley, it was bumper deep last night already, I haven't looked this morning. :(

I hate that the truck has to have salt all over it, corroding the hell out of it. Then you hit the carwash and by the time you get home the undercarriage at a MINIMUM is covered again.. Northeast living sucks.. i shoulda moved lol
