Auto Door Locks

Hello everyone.

 

Does anyone know if there is a way to turn off the automatic door locking feature? I looked in the manual and see it can be configured to operate under different parameters, but don't see anywhere where it gives instructions to turn the feature right off.

I believe u can do that through the DIC.

The DIC will allow you to change that feature. I just set mine up today after I got home frome the dealership.

Yup. Just scroll through til ya find a setting you like!

Sorry.........The Gov'ment screwed us again with a new standard starting on 07 trucks (so I am told so it may be BS) and the only settings for auto locks is:

 

1. Lock in gear/unlock in park

2. Auto lock at 8 mph/unlock in park

 

You cannot turn the auto lock off in any 07 and up GM truck.
