Favorite Brand Of Tranny Fluid?

Does anyone have a preferred brand/kind of auto tranny fluid? The kind autozone had has dexxon in it. Since I have 1988 truck I wasn't sure if that was too acidic.

I swear by the trick shift b&m tranny oil in the older trucks.

Ive heard the GM autos dont like synthetic fluid. Maybe someone can dispell this as a myth, but thats what Ive alsways heard.

Who said anything about synthetic?

I haven't seen any issues using synthetic fluid in GM transmissions and currently, Dex VI which is factory fill for GM products is synthetic fluid.

 

I use whatever, for the most part, as long as it is Dexron certified. Usually end up grabbing Valvoline stuff.
