I havent been on here ina while since im on i figured id let u know bout my move to TX. So i started out on the east coast drove straight thru to arkansas. was drivin thru lots of country in this state and found a nice hotel in what i thought was a small nice town, but boy was i wrong. I stayyed at a really nice hotel, cant remember the name of it. but it was in north Little Rock, AK. anyways, had my wifes suv on a tow dolley packed full of what we took with us and didnt want the army to move. It was new years eve actually and i had driven like 20 out of the last 22 hrs so i hit the sack early. my wife and two kids stayed up a lil later but none of us made it to midnight. the next morning i went to breakfast with the kids and my wife started taking our stuff out to the car she calls me and tells me sumone broke into her car and i was like great... anyways cops come do there bs they gotta do (which is nothing but tell me all about how he used to be infantry in the army too). so they leave and i goto move the truck to the front of the hotel so we can finish loading up and i feel my truck is driving way wierd. (im talking i only moved like 5 feet)... so i get out thinking they got me and slashed my brand new 700 dollars worth of tires and i see all four of my wheels and tires laying almost flat (like the surface of the wheel parellel with the ground). they stole all my lug nuts.. now at this point i had to laugh, i really did laugh too. i was like wow they got me good. so moral of the story is, i used to like arkansas for their duck hunting and nice country towns but after that day i will never go thru the state again.

It wasnt all bad tho, the lady at the hotel was actually really nice, she actually gave me the keys to her car so i can drive around and find a store that sells a jack and lug nuts.. would u believe all they took was like 6 ps3 games. u know i am really lucky too because right underneathe the games they stole i had 3 pistols.. my xd .45, my WW2 colt US Government 1911 and a 22 revolver .. all in seperate cases but whew.. oh and in the back of my truck i had tool box, like a 10 drawer top of a tool chest with tools that i brought in case i had problems on the move... unlocked, totally unsecure for them to take.. so eventhough i got violated, boy was i lucky. just something for u guys to read and discuss.

sounds like a sucky way to star the year! about 4 months ago someone broke my little sister's car window and she had her laptop, ipod, gym stuff, sound system (the stereo's detachable face was on the stereo)... and all the took was a crappy old purse she had there... i mean! replacing the broken window was like 5 times more expensive than the damn purse! damn thieves! they just ruin the day! but in your case thank god they didn't take your guns and some other valuable or dangerous stuff! :P too bad about the lug nuts though! i mean! what do they need the lug nuts for??? isn't too much effort/time and needing tools to take them? that is weird!! sounds like they just wanted to make you suffer..... i have to agree with you on that! at that point all you can do is laugh!! good thing nobody got hurt! nothing valuable or expensive got stolen and it was an easy fix!!

Never heard of somebody jacking just the lugs, that's pretty dirty right there. You coulda been hurt or incurred serious damage had you made it onto the road.

Unfortuneately, It's been my experience more than a few small towns (not all of them though) have got these dumbass kids that just like to mess with out-of-towners. That good ol' "We don't like your kind around here" mantra. :P

yeah..(sorry it tok so long to reply). I was pretty lucky. the crazy part about it was since i was driving the entire trip i was really grumpy nd wanting sleep and my son kept crying and i told my wife i was like im about to go sleep in the damn truck. I really wish i did that! that woulda either stopped them from doing it (if they even looked in the truck) or if they didnt, and i caught em.. whew, they wouLDA wished they looked and walked away.. growing up thats kinda one thing i never felt comfortable doing was destroying someone elses property and stealing. IDK why cuz i done some bad things, hell ive even been locked up when i was younger just never a hardened delinquent like that i guess.

I would have read (and maybe even had something to add to) this story, but the complete lack of using the shift key made the paragraph one not worth trying to decipher.

Jeeeeeez. Has everybody forgotten how to write?

I don't know which way you were going to texas but if you were going to go on I40 if you had gone another 30 miles you would not of had any problems at all and if you could of made it 75 miles you could of left the keys in the rig and not worried about it at all. I can walk to about around and find at least 10 cars at any time with the keys in them at any time. Sorry about your problems in the big city. :)

on our trip to Cali, we only stopped twice going out, and 4 times going back in arkansas. (one of those times going back was actually being stuck in traffic because somebody FAILED at Trucking, and flipped a Tanker.)
