Getting Stock Fog Lights To Stay On When High Beams Are On?

Hey i have a 2006 z71 silverado with factory foglights. I was wondering if there is a way to make my fog lights stay on when i turn my high beams on. I've seen trucks on youtube do it but they had upgraded light systems and i don't mines all stock. Was wondering if anyone knows how to do this i figure it must be in the relays or switch or something. Thanks.

That first one seems to be a great help but will it work on the silverado i think it will it should be the same box and it never mentioned if i could still use my fog lights without turning on the high beams, has anyone tried this or know more?

Yes...you can...you jumper it with a diode. when your highs are on, the fogs get they're power from the highs, when the fogs are on, the diode blocks the power from going to your highs.

oh okay so when i go from headlights and fogs ill have to turn off fogs to get highbeams on but then fogs will come back automatically as will headlights if i set it up for all three?

NO...if you hit highs, fogs will come on....

 

If you have fogs on only, you get fogs only...and you can have fogs on or off with low. High beams....all lights are on...AKA 6-Hi
