beecha91 Posted March 28, 2011 Author Posted March 28, 2011 god i wish i had that kind of time on my hands, i have enough time to clean the inside of the cab and wash the outside but the engine bay..no Dong the engine bay I just treat the plastic about once a month. The professional detailing stuff I use lasts for a long time, and drys when it goes on doesnt stay wet or fling everywhere. So one or two passes on the plastic, and it holds the treatment for a months not days. Its pretty easy when you us quality stuff..
jro909 Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 i clean the plastic bits, but my valve covers got road gunk up the wazoo...i'm not a fan of taking the garden hose to the engine bay so i just try to hand wash what i can when i can
Luvbelly Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I am a little jealous. Got about a month or so before it would be worth it to do mine. I actually enjoy it. A little music, some beer, and sunshine make it a nice peaceful afternoon. I only hope mine looks as good as yours when I am done.

When the motor hasnt be touched in 5-6 years, and normal hand cleaning wont suffice. I normally dont let my vehicles ever get to that point, and a good hand cleaning usually works fine for me.
beecha91 Posted March 28, 2011 Author Posted March 28, 2011 Been going back and forth on the bug shield. So now its off.. looks ten times better I think
