New Member From West Texas

Howdy! I've been lurking the site for awhile now looking up tech tips and how-to guides for different stuff.

 

I own a 2010 white Silverado LT extended cab "Texas Edition", a 2010 Camaro 2SS/RS hence my username, and we are trading my wife's 2006 Caddy SRX in this afternoon for a 2011 SRX that we ordered awhile back.

 

so far i've added DIC panel, fog lights, chrome tow hooks, exhaust tip, chrome locking tailgate handle, oval step sides, rear wheel well liners, spray-in bedliner, debadged all the emblems, and painted the bowties white. next up is replacing the steering wheel with one equipped with audio controls, and the roof panel with garage door openers, and i'll be adding Katzkin leather w/ GM heated seat kit soon. i'm trying to keep it looking all stock, except i have been thinking about getting a touch screen nav system, volant powercore intake, corsa exhaust, and taking my DiabloSport Trinity programmer out of my camaro, having the camaro custom dyno tuned, and tuning the truck with the programmer for better highway fuel mileage.

i'd also like to add i like to detail cars as a hobby, i'm a loyal Adam's Polishes user, and have some pretty decent mechanical skills as long as i don't have to use any specialty tools. so i hope to help out when people have questions.

sorry for posting this so late... it's a GM Accessory i bought from a friend behind the parts counter at dealer cost. that "friend" has found a new job elsewhere unfortunately.

 

the part number is 19212672 for models w/ lock, and 19212858 for models w/o lock
