Back To Dealer Again :(

Had truck in 4-2-11 because I had a entire taillight out on the left rear they found a plug undone and reconnected prob solved, today I go to start truck and all 4 tires not reading.

onstar says everything checks out . so off to the dealer again I go this is the 4th time since I bought it 1055miles on the clock

1st time service traction control system, nothing found

2nd time was a low voltage condition while plowing that causes the system to throw codes on everything. Don't think this was the trucks fault

3rd time taillight dead left rear cable connector disconnected.

4th TPMS all of sudden does not read any sensors will find out tomorrow....

the biggest issue is finding the time to run back in forth to dealers

:lurk:

Good luck brother. I feel for ya. I'd be starting to get mad... I certainly understand you can have a few glitches at first... but... 4 trips in under 1200 miles. Hopefully this is the last

Starting to sound like your truck was built on a friday afternoon, I would be onto GM to do something for me for so many trips back and forth in under two months.

it arrived at the dealers at zip 13850 on a Friday so it was on a truck for a couple days

Sometimes I feel like the Friday Afternoon thing is true! My 07 was and was at the dealer 32 days last year total for warranty work...both my Suburban and previous pickup were built on Wednesday's and no issues with 250,000+ miles...coincidence? I dunno

Hopefully your dealer has nice loaners like mine does!

Went to take it over and it was working again, so I turned around and went home, as I pulled in the driveway it did it again, back to the dealer I went. They took in and found codes they also found the remotes don't work either. Going back at 7am again tomorrow with truck and both remotes. They said something about the body control and a F module? lemon

Onstar my link will unlock lock & start it LOL but my remotes don't.

Maybe the same guy who didn't plug the taillight in wired all the way in, wired the rest of the truck

I am very glad now that my truck was pulled for quality inspection after it was built. Of course I was anxious to get my truck but I have not had one problem (other than some wind noise, waiting for TSB to settle before taking it in for that)...

Mine was scheduled to be built the week of jan 10, but it was not built until Jan 18. So far, we have a keeper!

I hope they find something wrong with your truck that they can "fix" so you don't have to fight the intermittent things.

Sounds like it has an issue with the remote control door lock reciever (rcdlr) or the antenna for rcdlr.

I see that you have a light bar added to the truck. Do you have an add on radio equipment in the truck?

light bar is off right now, maybe your right the receiver for the key-fobs and the tires might be the same system as they keep going off together.

No, the receiver IS the same for both systems and if there is anything around the area of the receiver that is transmitting on the same or similar frequency as the tpm sensors/key fobs are, guess what?

that's what I said had to be the same system since they both died together, but it is funny I can lock my doors with my phone so the on star is working with the BCM . I think its a F module the tech was mentioning, sounds like somethings is loose as I can drive though some pot holes and get it to work LOL That's how I got the loose taillight connector to separate on the left rear.

I hope they get yours straightened out soon to your satisfaction.

I just checked the build-date on my truck...it was built on a Friday! I'm glad it's problem free after 2 years.

on the way over this morning I had the radio go on/off, the air bag, tire pressure, traction control and service 4wheel drive go off,

I think the BCM or ECM is toast. they are going to get me a truck to drive.

I asked for my old one which is sitting on the lot for sale and never gave me any issues
