Lahey99 Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Placed my order tonight for the Dynomax VT muffler for my 09 sierra....price came in at 113.00 shipped to cananda(edmonton AB) which is still less than buying it in the city at a local shop(205 + tax) the only thing im worried about is what its going to cost me at customs? i havent baught anything large and shipped across the border before? anyone have any experience with what this may cost me at customs for an item this size?? i am pretty excited to get some good deep sound out of my truck..im thinking of dumping the exuast right after the muffler...good idea??? and that way if it drones to much or i dont like it i can just get it extended and add a nice tip later!
deepstuff Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 So how did it work out? Waht size engine do you have? Where'd you buy it?
av41medic Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 If you have to pay anything, it will only be the tax (duty) on what it cost you. You will still be ahead of the game considering the local cost you mentioned. HTH.
Fobroader Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Ive ordered stuff for Jeeps from across the border. If its coming via UPS prepare to be anally raped....any other shipping company I dont find as bad. Im from Alberta as well and the worst duties ive ever had to pay was about $140 bucks of duties and shipping on $150 worth of stuff.
sic lsx Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 i got my 3" one for 90$ shipped i love it! it will be stock sounding at first but it will break in. Its still not as loud as you would think at WOT.
uh6tdrvr Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 SIC LSX, where did you order it from? I have been thinking about one but wondered how it would be towing of in V4 mode
sic lsx Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 I just Google it with part number and looked at shopping. I think it was 4wheel parts free shipping to.
