Shock Mount Bolts

Installed bilstein 5100 Leveling shocks this past weekend, and tightened down the 3 bolts on the top of the shock assembly pretty snug but not over the top.

Went out last night and used a torque wrench to tighten them down to proper specs, and 2 out of the 3 are completely fine. One of the bolts sheared off with the nut still attached, but still had a fair amount of thread left, so i put another nut onto it (with the expanded bottom to the nut) and tightened it as much as i could without going overboard. I know to replace the sheared bolt i would have to disassemble the entire shock assembly again and put a new bolt in there, but my question is, is it really worth it, or should i be fine with just 2 bolts that are still in good condition, and the other that has a different bolt on it but is fairly tight. BTW...who's bright idea was it to use aluminum bolts for a shock assembly?!

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Probably did torque it too high...which why the other 2 bolts were fine is beyond me, but they definitley didn't look like iron/steel bolts. But...it seems ok with the remaining thread on the bolt and the nut that i put onto it

No aluminum bolts on the truck period you must have torqued it to high.

I was figuring that was the case...(facepalm)

it seems to be ok so far...besides feeling like a complete idiot...if i do want to replace the bolt, i have to take that entire assembly apart...and also seeing where i can get a replacement bolt for it...wondering if it's really worth it or just keep an eye on it...(shaking head for my own stupidity)

The silver bolts are Anodized for corrosion protection.
