I said it would be a while, but I got antsy and did it this evening anyhow. Enjoy:

Sounds good. I had mine on for about a year and still dont know what it sounds like from outside the truck. I got to have someone else drive it for me but this gives me an idea.

The camera didn't do a great job capturing it but at full throttle the sound is similar to a glasspack, but a bit smoother IMO. I hit it under a bridge yesterday and the sound was incredible.

Thanks for the vids! Corsa and DB seem to be the best way to go. I've been searching DB's website for a C.C., 5.3, short bed, single side exit but they don't seem to offer one yet unless I'm blind. I send them a message. I'm not in a hurry though to see what the outcome of my truck with GM will be.

You'd need the same one I bought, P/N 24905 for a 5.3 with the 143.5" wheelbase. It's listed as 2010 only but it fit just fine on my truck. Though I did have to cut the stock exhaust in 2 places instead of just the one recommended in the instructions. If you wanted to keep the stock exhaust in one piece you could probably jack up the passenger side, drop the spare and remove the rear shock on that side and get it out all at once.

Got mine out in one piece with just a jack and dropping the spare.

Same here. There is no need to cut anything to remove the factory exhaust. All I had to do was drop the spare and jack up the rear of the truck using the trailer hitch so that the axle drooped. This allows you to snake it out intact.

Oh well. I was impatient and a sawzall is much faster than actually thinking.
