Very nice. I'd like more lift in the back, if it were mine, but that's just me.

BTW, you'd better get on mowing that grass before you leave on vaca too! LOL!! J/K

From what I've found, over the years of installing ifs lift kits, most will initially set the front higher or perfectly level (when measured on level surface) where as I prefer a truck to have a bit of positive rake (rear higher) still to it after a suspension modification. My current truck, sits nearly perfectly level as measured so it will most likely get a set of 2" blocks for the rear to bring the rear up a smidge more than it is currently. It's all a matter of opinion, really, that's all.

I myself am over cutting the grass. Is it winter yet?

I just went out and measured from the top of the tire to the fender....the front is 1.5 inches higher.....I hadn't noticed it. How can I make the rear slightly higher? Can I just add another 2" block?

Add-a-leaf, different leaf springs, taller block or any combination of those three.

I am NOT a fan of stacking blocks. Bad things can happen when you stack blocks.

Blackout: what do you think about fender flares to protect the body from dents and dings from rocks with a 4.5bs? It doesn't look like you are running any, when you drive in rain does it beat your paint up?

My paint is fine. I have a couple of chips here and there, but my steps do a pretty good job of protecting the paint. I have heard that flares don't really protect the rockers and that mud flaps are the way to go for that. It makes sense if you think about it. Any debris will sling up from under the body.

Def. stacking blocks is a no no.. You can how ever purchase taller blocks

My 07 took horrible stone chips on the bottoms of the rockers, lower parts of the door and in front of the rear fenders. I guess I should have added in my comment the addition of flares with Mud flaps/guards would help alot. The bigger lugs in the tires will pick up bigger stones too. Just something to consider. For some it's a personal choice but for others its not an option. If it was me, at a min, I'd ad mud flaps

Maybe a good set of steps then to complete the job...... what exactly are you running.

Go Rhino Dominator II's. Also look at NFab.

Does it matter which kind I get if I do a body lift down the road? Do they all just bolt to the frame.....

cant do add a leaf the fabtech already uses it. You can do a bigger block or a lift shackle in the back. Other options would be shackle flip or spring pack in the back.

My fabtech didnt have 1.5" of cali lean but more like .5 or so. I added a 1.5" front spacer and a 2" rear lift shackle and now its dead flat.

Nope. Both of those I mentioned mount to the body. Don't get steps that mount to the frame. They don't look as clean anyway.

Unless the installer failed to put the AAL in. I've seen this several times. Op, you shouldn't have that much cali with that kit. I know a couple of guys with the same setup and theirs is level.
