timmyltr Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 hey there im looking to put some new wheels on my sierra denali 2010 im looking for the xd monster 22'' in black, im looking for tires that gives 33''. I have a 2'' leveling front and 1,75'' rear block on it, so 33'' shouldn't be a problem. something in the 305 as well, not sure if it will be the 9,5'' or 11'' wheels though. Now as for the tires, i do alot of long trip on highway, tires must be quiet. thanks for your helps regard Tommy
mhenshaw Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Get the 22x9.5 because the 11 are too wide and might cause rubbing. +18 offset is the best offset to prevent rubbing with aftermarket wheels. 305/40/22 should fit without rubbing, its not a 33" but its the largest you can go. Cooper Zeon Ltz are great tires plus they only cost $197 a tire in that size.
timmyltr Posted July 13, 2011 Author Posted July 13, 2011 so how about 275 something sorry i suck when its come to tires dimension. I know stock is 31.5'' ish, my goal is to raise the truck for another 2'' thanks edit: why tirerack give 35 offset on 9,5 wheels?
mhenshaw Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Use this Tire Size Cal These trucks do not clear large tires. You must trim if you want to go large. If you want a true 33 then you need a narrow tire (275), if you want a wide (305) tire you have to get a shorter tire. Different brand tires in the same size measure differently too. So tell us what tire you want and the size and we will tell you if you need to trim. Like I said before you best bet for looks and not rubbing is 305/40/22.

Ray Lopes Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 I just put that size on my 11 Silverado the look sharp.
stlavsa Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 I just put that size on my 11 Silverado the look sharp. go wide a tall skinny tire just looks like pizza cutters, not aggressive at all.
Justin Lane Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Yes go with the 305's and run 33's. Get a good meaty tire like the toyo or nitto. You wont regret it. I have a 295/55/20 on my truck
