Drivers Mirror

Hello, does anyone know how difficult it is to get the drivers side mirror off of my 95 Z71? Someone has hit the mirror at one time( I just noticed) and the black plastic surrounding the mirror is broken away. I see 2 torx screws underneath? I bet the door panel has to come off?

All you should have to do is remove the top corner trim piece (right above the door panel)  It just pulls out.  Behind there you will find the mounting nuts for the mirror.

Thanks Yukon, I will look into it on the weekend. It would be great if that is all there is to it. I just have to find another mirror now.

If you don't already have one you may want to consider getting one of these. Trim Removal Tool  

 

You'll only have to remove the top one to gain access.  Just be careful and don't drop anything!!
