04' Hood Shake At Highway Speeds

Bought my 04' Crew Cab with 40k miles on it back in January of this year. I noticed on the highway at around 60 mph and above, the hood shakes pretty badly on the left and right side( right above the headlights).

 

I was wondering if this is normal on this year truck? Is there anything I can do to correct it?

 

I dont think it is really hurting anything, but it doesnt look/seem right..

Shaking is never normal. If just the hood is moving, check the hood latch and rubber stoppers on each side of the hood. They are just behind the headlights.

Mine (2004) has always kind of done that at highway speeds. I turned the adjusters up so that there's good tension on each side of the hood and it helped a lot.

Mine does this on my 2010, since the day i brought it home. i thought it was due to the metal being thinner on the hood.

I'd check the tires for a belt slip. Mine did this in the year and I am 1700 dollars in the hole for a blow out.
