FYI for those of you who live in the midwest area where they have O'Reilly Automotive stores; they are having a special on Pennzoil Platinum. Buy one get one free, up to a max of purchasing 6 (and getting 12 quarts) per customer visit. No rebates or coupons needed--just buy one get one free instantly at the register. Sale ends July 26 though. I'll be making a couple more visits by then.

is that full synthetic if so how much is it a quart, btw thanks for the heads up, at wal mart i think for 5 quarts its like $25

Yes, from what I've been told and from what the label says, Pennzoil Platinum is 'full synthetic'.

And it's also Dexos certified for '11 model year and future '12 model year owners.

Good deal, as this is is one of only a few full syn oils that meet GM4718M (along with Mobil 1 5W-30 and Royal Purple). GM4718M is a more stringent spec than GM6094M (latter required for my 2005). I'll check my local O'Reilly just in case...
