Facelift For My Gmt 800

got these 285s for free, took the step bars off, new badges, little facelift for a 10 yr old truck, o and i also put a ridiculous system in it, 4 pioneer 6 1/2s with jvc head unit, ran the line out to 400w amp and to the fronts, it had no rear line out so i got a box that lowers the gain on the rears and ran those to the amp too. then i found a 900w amp for my infinity 12" that i modified to fit under the back seat. i also flush mounted a huge inverter in my console to power a little 10 inch guitar amp which is the loudest fn speaker ive ever heard. so altogether i could have the amp for my pa (75W) the amp for the 4 speakers (400W) the amp for thesub (900W) and my inverter running, it is honestly the clearest loudest system ive ever heard, not alot of bass but i dont need that. needless to say i installed a second battery and my alternator hates me lol

What size did you have on your truck before the new 285's? Also, did you have to crank the torsion bars or trim anything? I'm still deciding on 265 or 285

David B. I just put 285's on my 1500HD and all I did was a 1" crank on my bars. No rub and looks awesome!

Do you have any pictures of them mounted and are they on the stock rims?
