Muffler Delete On 2010 Silverado

I'm not 100% on this, because I have never owned one newer than a 2000, but you should be able to just do it. Cut the muffler off weld pipe in its place and enjoy. It's only the cats you have to worry about throwin codes, and even with them (once again, in my experience with older trucks), if you put about 3/16" worth of washer in between the o2 sensors and the pipe it will back them out enough to read correctly without cats. There very well could be something on the newer ones I am unfamiliar with, but I hope this helps.

You described removing the muffler, not the catalytic converter.

I'm aware of that. I then mentioned that the cats will throw a code if removed, and offered a solution. I prefer to do away with both on my trucks.
