Speaker Problem

I have an 04 chevy crew cab silvarado pickup with the bose system in it, i replaced the radio with an aftermarket pioneer and got all the necessary adapters and all but the driver side front speaker works. i thought the speaker was bad so i replaced it and still doesn't work, ive check the wiring and it seems to be fine and audio does go to the little speaker on the pillar. i have no idea what it could be.

When you said you checked the wires, did you use a meter to check if you had voltage or not?
