Service Stabilitrak

hi there, i introduced myself at the members lounge...two weeks ago i installed a leveling kit, 3" front with torsion keys and shock extenders, with two inch blocks for the rears, now i dont know if that has anything to do with stabilitrak itself but again im not as advanced in car or truck electronics as i am mechanically... it flashed once i rinsed the truck after it got pretty dusty at a jobsite...and it rained for the last 2 days like crazy here, again i dont know if that has anything to do with it...ill also add that the truck now is alot stiffer than before after installing the leveling kit...now it seemed fine for the last 2 weeks with no problems but today out of the blue it showed me the msg...i tried turning it off, waiting 15 minutes and starting the truck up again, but once i started driving it showed me the msg again...im thinking maybe its because of the grinded down pavement around the streets waiting to get paved? because its a pretty rough surface for any type of vehicle to drive over...or the abuse climbing steep hills at jobsites in 4H? im full of questions why its on...and how can i fix this problem...i appreciate any help...im handy with a socket set and capable of modding and regular maintenance on trucks or cars...one more question, where is the stabilitrak module or computer located? maybe its dirty? muddy? or has it come loose and its worth having a look at it? or is it strictly an electrical problem. thank you

Incorrect wheel alignment settings or normal operation due to the severe suspension modifications. See PIT4322D.

thanks, does anyone know what the alignment specs are for my truck with the 3 inch leveling kit?

specs will be the same as stock but I doubt you'll be able to get it exact.. close but not exact. It should help

hey man thanks for the reply, well the truck IS aligned to factory specs...it was pretty dead on but what im worried about is the torsion keys themselves...i mean, should they be cranked all the way up? or is there a specific amount of cranks? and one other thing i realized, the block for the bolt to go thru and push the torsion key up wont sit properly in the slot...its a little offset, but the truck keeps maintaining its level and "normal" stance...at the right height down to a 16th...

Well today i went to a jobsite and on my way there it was on the whole way...parked, finished the shoring i had to weld...then climbed out of the mudhole i was in and left, on my way back...for 84kms, not a sign of the light...it was pouring today somewhere around 30mms of rain they called for...so lots of puddles of collected rain cleaned off my muddy truck, but yeah no sight of the light since i left the jobsite in 4H...i have this weird feeling that when i actually need it...it wont be there...i dont know......

See PIT4322D. Or, your wheel alignment is STILL not correct.

I would shocked if that small amount of lift is causing your problem. I have had zero issues and haven't heard of any such as this with trucks that have real lifts on them.
