Service Air Bag Both Impact Sensors Bad?

So I dropped the truck off yesterday for the service air bag light. They called today and said that both front impact sensors were out. I, of course, hinted that it was suspicious that both were out and they of course said "yeah it's weird." The truck has not been in type of accident to make both sensors go out. Anyway, they quoted 496 and I'm picking the truck up tomorrow and plan to change these sensors out myself for 150. The question is: will the service air bag light go off after I change the sensors and disconnect battery; assuming these sensors are the problem? Or do they have to clear the codes with the expensive GM scanner? I'll ask for the codes tomorrow when I pick the truck up. Thanks
