WOOHOO!! Getting my Envoy!!

Well, finally, after 3 months of messing around trying to figure a way to get out of one lease and into another with no financial backlash, I did it.

My sis and husband are taking over my lease payments on my BMW for 4 months while they wait for their new car. That leaves my wife and I free and clear to get something new.

I started the paperwork Sunday and will pick it up this Saturday. Just easier to pick it up on Saturday then during the week.

I got a 2003 GMC Envoy SLT in CarbonMetallic with Dark Pewter Lthr. I got the moonroof, running boards, heated seats, upgraded radio, side air bags and the polished aluminum rims. Also got the alarm installed by GMC.:thumb:

Thinking of getting the brush guard/frontrunner . Didn't like GMC's in the book , is there another good brand I can look at? Good fit and easy to install?? What other mods can I do to this lovely beast.

Coming from the BMW all the mods were outrageously priced so not to many were done, plus it was a lease. Any help will be apppreciated.

dad has a e30 325is 5-speed I play around in every now and then. is that a [3] 23/28 or 25/30? see you have the M5 wheels, NICE!!! is that a Bav-auto wing? maybe racing dymanics or AC S?

I'm excited to get it but at the same time sad to let my Bimmer go. Need somehting more practical now though since we are moving into a new house in a couple of weeks.

Once we are in though, second car might have to be another bimmer. Those are M5 replicas - 17 in on there. True M5 rims won't fit a 3 series b/c the offset is different. The wing is OEM BMW wing. Had an M tech bumper (like M3 front bumper and Angel eyes on order when the Envoy bug bit me.

GoRhino makes a nice grille guard as Ryanbab and I both have. His wraps the lights, mine doesn't. Easy install on the full-size trucks, not sure what they offer for an Envoy, but worth a look. Welcome aboard.

You may want to pickup a set of the GMC mud guards. The keep a lot of crap off the boards. They are molded for the Envoy and only took me 30 minutes to install.

It snowed Thursday, picked up the car Friday and it has been filthy since.

I think I did pretty well. The car stickered for around $38k with all the options in it and charges. I leased it for 36 months and the lease was based off of a price of $34.5k and a $500 dealer cash rebate. So, basically, lease was based off of $34k with fees and taxes up front. Pretty happy with the lease price on it – mid $400’s.
