2011 Sierra 1500

Honestly, I like the towing with our '97 3/4 ton 350 better than towing with my 5.3 '06. I actually get better mileage with the older truck

I traded in my 2009 GMC Sierra 1500 SL with the 4.8 and 4 speed for a 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE with the 5.3 and 6 speed. I'm glad I did, I just wish I had went that way in 2009..

They are No Power Houses but they get tremendous gas milage. I rent 6 trucks like this every summer for my weed inspectors to drive and they seem to go for ever on a tank of gas. But towing and hauling is out of the question for any big loads. I can't imagine these fullsize trucks with the v6 that is offered. The v6 must just move the truck. hahaha.

Are you talking the 5.3 that I got or the 4.8 I was originaly getting?

In British Columbia, weed inspection is generally done in the fall.
