How's it going fellas, I joined in order to read a thread that google led me to (took me to the forum's homepage when I clicked the link), in order for me to confirm the part number for the auxiliary battery tray I need to purchase.

 

My name is Mike, I'm a student at Texas A&M Galveston class of 2014 and I enjoy long walks on the beach

 

Now to my truck which is my DD, it's a '95 C1500 and a month ago the mods done to my truck included: 5.7 TBI Trans Dapt Wide Open TB Spacer, Edelbrock Pro-Flo OAI, Ultimate TBI Mods, Flowtech Shorties, Magnaflow cat into Spintech Pro Street, Vette Servo, Hotchkis 2/4, and 5000K 35W HID's.

 

Now all those mods done to my 350 are gone because...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now that pic is a couple weeks old so I've gotten more work done but haven't been taking too many pictures. I only need a few more things before the swap is complete and I have to have this done by Jan. 17 so it will be done soon!

I tore it down because with all those mods I had done to the 350,it managed a 16.96 1/4 E.T. @79 MPH and that is much too slow for me AND I was getting 11 MPG on the city and 14 on the highway.

 

The motor that you see in there is an '02 5.3, it's going to be relatively stock for now, just a CAI, Nelson tune, and longtubes. With this setup I should be seeing my 1/4 E.T. in the 14's and I should be getting at least 16 MPG in the city, by this time next next year I should have a mild 4L80E, 3200 Yank stall, and a Vinci Trucker cam
