Auto Climate control on 2500LT

On my old 08 silverado 1500LTZ when I set the temp for 23C in the winter it felt nice and warm and coming from the floor like it should.I just bought a new 2011 2500HD duramax with auto climate but an LT not LTZ.Even though I set the floor only option heat comes out of the side and front defrosts as well as the floor all the time.Any answers on this thanks

Out the side I understand since this is the way my poor old '06, my previous '04 Sonoma & my wife's old '03 Alero works, however if it's coming out the defrost vents as well that might be as Rob said, ask a dealer to diagnose.

I asked here first because the service dept are usually a waist of time telling you there is nothing wrong

but its under warranty and there IS something wrong,the unit needs to be gone thru with a scanner and maybe a reprograming .,they can fix this ,,where are you in Canda??
