Just gettin' started

Hello from the Northwest -

I wanted to do a bit of an intro.

I'm an East Tennessee transplant, living in Washington State for the past thirteen years. Depending on many things - mostly the economy - I hope to retire in about a year and a half at age 65. I've saved a whole bunch of nickels and dimes and, come this summer, I plan to buy a brand new space ship - a GMC 3500HD Denali SRW to drag around a Fuzion 305 (35') toy hauler and fish my butt off as much as possible throughout the Pacific Northwest before I die.

Make no mistake, even though I've been doing my homework for a little over 5 years, I am still a true rookie. So I make no apologies in my primary purpose of joining this forum - your advice!! I will appreciate any and all advice that you vets out there are willing to share - especially in the areas of towing add-ons. So, I plan to follow up this intro with a post or two in the forums that are concerned with these sorts of things (although, I have snooped around a bit, and man, you guys have tricked out trucks in ways that are way beyond anything I've even imagined!).

So that's about it. Thanks for reading and thank all of you in advance for any and all suggestions you're willing to offer. I am excited!

Well we have a biography about yourself...what about what you drive?

As the info says under my icon, currently I drive a 2004 Yukon Denali. It's pretty much my family vehicle. Just me and my wife. No kids. We'll keep the Yukon, it has been one sweet ride. With 125K on the odometer and no major issues it's got another 100k in it easily.
