Tow mirrors

I know this has been beat to DEATH, I just don't want to order the wrong mirrors. I have the DL3's, and I want to keep all the options I can. It's looking like (from my limited knowledge) that the GM73EL-S is what I'd need, correct? I'm okay without the power folding, I just want the heat and turn signals. Can anyone help me out please? I'd greatly appreciate it!!

Also, if anyone can give their opinions on their Kool Vue's or the OEM tow mirrors I'd like to hear what you've got to say about them.

Oh yeah, I've been researching all day and yes, I know what the search button is.

Yes. I just did the swap gm73el-s and gm73er-s

One is left side and one is right. I got mine at a good price and they shiooped quick from discountbodyparts.com

After about a week re tighten. The foam settles. But I love them.

A whole month later and I finally got my mirrors. I've only been around the block, but I LOVE not having to turn my head anymore. One of my favorite upgrades so far

I have a question in regards to tow mirrors... I have a buddy of mine that just bought a 2012 2500 Sierra... my question is will his tow mirrors work on my 2007 Silverado(Both are the new body styles)... he wants to trade me for my stock mirrors and I am in need of his tow mirrors for my Silverado any info would be really appreciated thank you in advance.

I believe they will work. What options do your mirrors have, and what do his have?

Mine have the Directionals and Folding....I believe his has Directional only but not totally positive.

You can use them but no tow mirror has power folding. Also, if you use the memory function it is my understanding that it will make the mirrors move off on their own as the tow mirrors do not support this function so either don't use memory or have the door modules (fancy speak for window switches) programmed at the dealership.

Any ideas of what the dealer charges to reprogram the door modules...?
