Am I the only person that hates the Z71 decal?

And made the dealer peel them off before I would take delivery of the truck? Actually they put a coat of hand wax on the truck and I asked if they would please take off the rediculous stickers before waxing it. GM design gets a huge F for the Z71 decal.

I prefer all decals off. I HATE them. I kept the Gm chicklets and the Silverado lettering. Everything else is gone!

I took of all my trim and decals when i got mine. They look like crap after a few years of living where I am and I rather just have no badges then have crap build up around them.

i think the Z71 stickers on the GMT900's are kinda tacky looking but the GMT800 Z71 decals are much better

I like mine, now if they were obnoxiously sized like some of the vehicles I've seen (Z71 or otherwise) then yes I'd remove them. They're badges not paint protection after all.

 

There was a thread awhile back that talked about easy ways to remove the badge, if you can find it, there was a gathering of people that didn't care for badges on vehicles too.

I like them. I also like badges on vehicles. Debadged vehicles remind me of the 80's when cheap-skate BMW owners bought 318's and took the badges off so that people thought that they bought 325's. I always associate debadged vehicles with this analogy.

I like well placed badges and decals. Though, I have seen some trucks go overboard with them, especially the aftermarket conversions.

I like having my badge. It always get me puzzled looks when I tell people the truck is not 4wd, just has the Z71 suspension package. Especially while I am living in North Dakota.

 

Note: I didn't specificaly go after the Z71 package, the dealer had it on the lot, I liked it, walked out $10K less than sticker price. Couldn't pass up the deal. Additional note, I bought it while living in North Carolina, so I didn't need 4wd at the time, and still don't..

I feel the same way.

 

I like the badges and decals, as long as they're factory decals. I do like my "4x4" decal better than the current Z71 decals on the nnbs trucks. Since the 2WD and 4WD trucks look almost identical without the decals I like having one to show what I have.

 

I don't like the crappy "4x4" decals that can be gotten at Wal-Mart and some of the auto parts stores, they look idiotic.
