rpo's am i misssing something?

was going thru my rpo's in the glovebox and 2 of them i looked up that puzzled me were pdf and ppa my tailgate seems to lift just like any other tailgate what makes it so easy? is there something not right? oh and one other that confused me was yd3 user selectible differential? anyone answer my questions?

pdf is an adobe file and the yd3 is cubic yards

Sometimes RPO codes mean different things for different product lines.

Example:

G80 is a locking differential in trucks but a limited slip in cars....

 

PDF could be any of the below:

PDF EZ-Lift Tailgate Package

PDF Security Package

PDF Sound System Plus Package

PDF LT Package 1

PDF CONTROL SALES ITEM NO. 123

 

PPA is the EZ lift tailgate. You may want to try lifting the tailgate of an equivalent truck without this feature to see the difference.

yes i've looked them up already...i dont notice the tailgate any lighter or easier then any other gate i've ever lifted? is there some lifting unit i should be able to see somewhere? and as far as the information that comes up for yd3 ? it doesnt make sense as g80 is the code for rear locker which i have...

YD3 is the code for your front axle, I've only provided you with the factory description. If you google search just those words:

"Front Axle For Scheduling GVW Plate" you can find more info pertaining to it's meaning.
