Is there a lift manufacturer that makes a 4'' lift kit that doesn't require lowering the torsion bar mount in the middle of the truck? I want as much clearence as possible and i don't think it looks all to good either. Also would handling be affected with a setup like this? Thanks

Damn that BDS kit looks sweet. So it is refered to a non torsion bar drop, makes sense thank you.

i would say if you have the money to go for the bds... better finish on the components a lot of the components are thicker, not to mention fit better as well, ive installed several of both, i get out my die grinder every time for the rough country to line holes up and make it fit, ive only ever had to do this once with a bds lift kit and that was because the truck had previously been in an accident... bds has very good customer relations and its very simple to get replacement parts, and every time i call rough country i get some hick who i can barely understand who spends 5 minutes breathing heavily into the phone saying "ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm i dont think i can get those parts without selling you the whole kit"

BDS is the way to go. Can't beat the warranty and customer service IMO.

Agreed.
