Remote Starter Question

Does anyone know why a remote starter wouldnt work for the first start of the day? I push all the same buttons, the lights blink, and the engine doesnt turn on, though if I go out, start the truck, turn it off immediately, and then try to use the remote starter, it'll fire right up, any suggestions?

Can't say for sure what is causing it to fail. I do know that there are a whole list of things that will cause it not to start right away ranging from low fuel or oil, to most of the computer fault codes. If you dig around on here, there is a list of them somewhere.

I use my remote start everyday in the cold CA winters and never had an issue. You sure your hitting the lock button first and then the start button immedialy after? Has it always been that way? Try the other remote, it might be the remotes battery. If not take her in.

but it always works, its just the first start after its been sitting there for a while, same key combination, the lights flash and everything. I can walk out to the truck, turn it on, the second it fires up turn in off, get out, and use the remote starter, if it were a low truck battery, that wouldnt work, and if it were the button it still wouldnt start...
