Would you take a pro comp lift if it was free?

I have a chance to trade stock suspension for a pro comp 6" lift with the coil over front suspension, even swap. Would you do it?

I plan on doing it, just waiting to hear back from the other person.. I know most people on here will say that pro comp is junk and that everybody that wants a lift should go with BDS so just curious as to what everyones opinion is, thanks

Can't beat FREE though. I'm assuming it's used? Worst case just buy a different one and sell that one and make a few $.

yeah it is used, waiting to find out a few more details. I guess it isnt completely free, I am not sure if he is wanting the installation expenses paid or whatever.

im pretty sure my first question would be why is he returning to stock.... and i would drive his truck wtih the kit on first and make sure you like the way it rides and it's not making and horrible sounds... also check wtih procomp on their warrenty and see if its transferable to you for any future issues.

I found out that it wasnt the coilover lift like he had previously said. In the pics he sent me the truck looked like it has been rode hard and the angles he had were really bad. He claims that he is trading because he is a student and cant afford new tires so he wants to return to stock and trade his 20's with bald 35's for stock rims and tires, In my case my stock tires are brand new and I really dont want to get rid of them in case I ever return to stock and I dont need his rims since I already have 20's. I assuming he is expecting whoever he finds to trade to pay for the cost of swapping the suspension on the 2 trucks so I'm thinking I am gonna pass. I would rather spend the extra money to know what I have on my truck is solid

I had a pro comp on my 07 and it is a decent lift. No problems with it and actually I have never heard of people having issues with them. So I'm not sure where everybody uneasy about them.
