Wow, Canada has 13% sales tax? Ouch!

 

 

We have PST (actually called HST now) and GST that total 13% in Ontario. GST is 5% and is on most everything other than tampons. HST is on anything that has GST.

Some provinces...HST "harmonized sales tax" Alberta and most other provinces are much less
