Which fuel pump?

Hello. Looking to replace the fuel pump/sender unit but not sure what to buy. On rock auto for example, there seems to be various options/codes for the same truck so I'm a little confused as to which one to buy.

 

I want to replace the whole unit because the sender is bad and as I approach 100k miles, I figure I might as well do the pump as well, which sounds noisy lately. Thanks for any info.

Call the dealer and get a part number and price. Then you will know the correct part number. FYI I would not go aftermarket on fuel pumps. I have seen a lot of trouble with them.

I replaced mine with a airtex its been working excellent got the whole sender and everything for 179 shipped from summit,i wouldnt even bother calling a dealer.

Yeah, I'll just stick with OEM. Know a few people that had to go through various airtex pumps until they got one that lasted more than a few months. Thanks for the info/suggestions.

my fuel sending sensor too showing me half tank, while its almost empty

What about Delphi? Its about 30 bucks cheaper online than the AC Delco part. Aren't they the same anyways?

Well, I went with the Delphi module. What a nightmare, everything is a nasty rusty mess under the truck. Had to cut a fuel line and a ground strap to the filler neck. The locking ring for the pump module was so rusted, I had to destroy it to remove it. One of those clip nut things that are clipped to the frame for the tank strap bolts fell off due to the clip rusting out. The metal part of the fuel filler neck is about to rust through and they are retarded expensive. Fun times.
